In the 42nd match of ICC Cricket World Cup 2019, Afghanistan will take on West Indies at Headingley in Leeds today.

Afghanistan has lost all their eight matches and it's the final opportunity to open their win account. In the last two-three matches, they put up a good performance and dominated the game for most of the time but couldn't cross the winning line. Their batsmen are getting starts but unable to convert them into big innings so they need to improve in that area. In the bowling, their spinners have been excellent and they will look to do the job against West Indies too.

On the other hand, West Indies have only one win from eight matches and will look to finish their disappointing campaign on a winning time. They too like Afghanistan suffered a few heartbreaking losses but with little bit more efforts can cross the winning line. Their top order is failing to play big knocks but the form of Nicholas Pooran and Fabian Allen is a good sign for them. In the bowling, Sheldon Cottrell and Jason Holder are doing well but Oshane Thomas and Shanon Gabriel have been disappointing so far.
