Fakhar Zaman was on target of the trolls again after he ended up gifting his wicket to the South African spinner, Imran Tahir. It was a do-or-die game for both the teams, Pakistan and South Africa. It wasn't a close encounter despite being a virtual knockout game for them. Eventually, Pakistan defended their total of 308 by restricting Proteas to just 259/9.

Batting first, Pakistan got off to a good start as their opening stand lasted till 14th over. In the second last ball of 15th over, Zaman was dismissed off Tahir with an awful shot. Tahir bowled a full-length delivery to Fakhar as he walked across to the off side in order to scoop it but failed badly. The ball jumped off his gloves only to land in the hands of Hashim Amla at slip.

Fakhar knew the shot wasn't very delightful and smashed his bat on the ground realizing his mistake. 

Twitter took a dig at Fakhar's dismissal. This is not the first time he has been trolled for his dismissal. Even in Asia Cup against India, he had fallen while sweeping Kuldeep Yadav which resulted in his wicket.
