The 29th match of the ICC World Cup 2019 will be played between New Zealand and West Indies at the Old Trafford ground in Manchester. New Zealand is undefeated in the tournament and is coming off a close win over South Africa, while West Indies is coming off a heart-breaking loss to Bangladesh in their last match.

New Zealand is playing like a well-gelled team, but their only problem is that their openers are not giving them the starts they would like. Martin Guptill has got starts but hasn’t gone to make that big score that fans want from him. His partner Colin Munro is not doing well in the batting department and its most likely that he will make way for more astute Henry Nicholls at the top, who knows how to grind out runs and put a price on his wicket.

West Indies, on the other hand, did everything right, but the wrong selection in the bowling department and flawed bowling plans saw them lose to Bangladesh despite making 320 plus runs. They went in for an all-out fast bowling attack, who bowled short balls and were taken for cleaners, add to that the selection of Shannon Gabriel, who is more of a Test match specialist, meant that things got out of their hands. This means the team management might go back to Kemar Roach and bring in a spinner in Ashley Nurse in place of the injured Andre Russell.

New Zealand Predicted Playing XI:
Henry Nicholls, Martin Guptill, Kane Williamson (C), Ross Taylor, Tom Latham (WK), James Neesham, Colin de Grandhomme, Mitchell Santner, Trent Boult, Matt Henry, Lockie Ferguson

West Indies Predicted Playing XI:
Chris Gayle, Evin Lewis, Shai Hope (WK), Nicolas Pooran, Shimron Hetmyer, Darren Bravo, Jason Holder, Ashley Nurse, Oshane Thomas, Kemar Roach, Sheldon Cottrell
