Kane Williamson and Faf du Plessis | GettyThe 25th match of the ICC World Cup 2019 will be played between New Zealand and South Africa at Edgbaston, Birmingham. New Zealand has won three matches out of four played, while South Africa has won only one match out of 5 played.

New Zealand’s last match against India was washed out, while they have been unbeaten so far in the tournament. The Kane Williamson led side has had a good mixture of aggressive batsmen at the top in Munro and Guptill, followed by the likes of Taylor, Latham, and Williamson to patrol the middle of the innings. The Kiwi bowling is looking amazing with Henry, Ferguson, and Boult provide the pace with Neesham, De Grandhomme and Santner providing valuable support to them.

South Africa, on the other hand, registered their first win in the tournament over Afghanistan and will look forward to taking the momentum of that match forward in the upcoming matches. De Kock, Du Plessis, and Van der Dussen have been the backbone of Proteas batting while Hashim Amla, Markram, and Miller needs to come good in support to them if the team wants to do well in the future of the ongoing event. With Lungi Ngidi fit to return, South Africa will have a boost to their chances of beating the Kiwis.

New Zealand Predicted Playing XI:
