In the 23rd match of ICC Cricket World Cup 2019, West Indies will take on Bangladesh at The Cooper Associates County Ground in Taunton today. Both the teams have three points from four matches each.

West Indies kicked off their campaign with a big win over Pakistan but they couldn't continue their winning run and lost to Australia and England and rain washed out South Africa match. To stay alive in the top four race they need to return to winning ways against Bangladesh. Chris Gayle, Evin Lewis, Shai Hope have to convert their starts and in middle overs, Nicholas Pooran and Shimron Hetmyer have played good knocks but one of them has to stay till the end.

Jason Holder, Andre Russell, and Carlos Braithwaite need to do finishers' duty. In the bowling, Sheldon Cottrell, Oshane Thomas, Jason Holder, Andre Russell all have done well so far with their pace and bouncy bowling but they are missing a spinner in the middle overs.

On the other hand, Bangladesh also started off very well and beat South Africa in their first match but they too couldn't maintain their momentum and lost the next two matches. Shakib Al Hasan has been excellent with the bat so far but other players couldn't perform with consistency. Openers Tamim Iqbal and Soumya Sarkar need to give a good start, Mushfiqur Rahim and Shakib al Hasan can capitalize in the middle overs. Mahmudullah, Hossain, and Mithun have played a few cameos but they need to be a bit more consistent and have to finish innings on a brighter note.

In the bowling, captain Mashrafe Mortaza and Mustafizur Rahman have to take wickets with the new ball and Rahman also needs to work on his death overs skills. Rubel Hossain should be given a chance as his pace and reverse swing will be useful in the middle overs. Overall it's going to be a good contest between two good sides.
