The 23rd match of the ICC World Cup 2019 will be played between West Indies and Bangladesh at The Cooper Associates County Ground in Taunton. The Caribbean side has played four games and lost two and won one, while the Bangla Tigers have a similar kind of record.

The West Indies team were handed a big loss at the hands of England in their last game, as their batting couldn’t handle the pace of Wood and Archer; while the bowling was thrashed all around the park by Joe Root, who scored his second century in the competition. West Indies will look to give their struggling all-rounder Andre Russell a rest in this encounter and probably play Ashley Nurse to counter the plethora of left-handers in the Bangladeshi team.

Bangladesh, on the other hand, had their previous match against Sri Lanka washed out due to rain. But they have a pretty good record of 5-0 over West Indies in the last five matches and have been good in this tournament as well with a win over South Africa. The Bangla Tigers will see themselves as favorites in this match given the record but need to be wary of the bouncer happy West Indies fast bowlers, who have made the best of the best batsmen jump up and down.

West Indies Predicted Playing XI:
Chris Gayle, Evin Lewis, Shai Hope(w), Nicholas Pooran, Shimron Hetmyer, Jason Holder(c), Carlos Brathwaite, Ashley Nurse, Sheldon Cottrell, Shannon Gabriel, Oshane Thomas

Bangladesh Predicted Playing XI:
Tamim Iqbal, Soumya Sarkar, Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim(w), Mohammad Mithun, Mahmudullah, Mosaddek Hossain, Mohammad Saifuddin, Mehidy Hasan, Mashrafe Mortaza(c), Mustafizur Rahman
