With the much-awaited 2019 Cricket World Cup match between India and Pakistan just three days away, the organizers and sponsors are leaving no stone unturned to hype it up further.

Recently, a Pakistan TV channel came up with its latest advertisement for the much-anticipated World Cup match -which features a character portraying wing commander Abhinandan Varthaman, has taken the internet by storm ahead of the tournament’s biggest event on Sunday, 16th June in Manchester.

Visibly, the TV advertisement can be seen clearly mimicking the captivity of Indian Air Force pilot Varthaman in Pakistan, which raised up the heat before the World Cup 2019 meeting of the two neighboring nations in Manchester.

In a 33-second video released by Pakistan's Jazz TV, the model can also be seen sporting Abhinandan's signature mustache, though, he was seen wearing the Indian Cricket team's jersey instead of a military uniform.

He was also mimicking the Wing Commander and his statements when the Indian Air Force pilot was captured by Pakistani Army after his MiG-21 Bison was shot down in February 2019.

With the latest advertisement, the war between India and Pakistan is heating up before the mega encounter in the UK, while the channel has been receiving a lot of backlash on social media, and even India Tennis star Sania Mirza also lashed out at the ad makers and broadcasters.
