Although Indian players have been asked to rest before flying to England for the ODI World Cup, all-rounder Hardik Pandya is leaving no stone unturned to keep himself fit and rejuvenated.

Determined to do well at the quadrennial event, Pandya was seen sweating it out in the gym on Sunday (May 19). He took to Twitter and shared a clip of his workout.

"No rest days when the World Cup is around the corner," Hardik wrote in the caption.

Considering his exploits for Mumbai Indians during the recently held Indian Premier League, Hardik Pandya is expected to play a key role during the World Cup in UK. He was instrumental in MI’s IPL 2019 triumph. The 25-year-old scored 402 runs and claimed 14 wickets from 16 IPL matches this season.

After securing the IPL trophy, Hardik had said: "I played well this season, but now time to move on. I want to lift that World Cup trophy as well."

Team India will leave for England on May 22. The Men in Blue will play two warm-up games – against New Zealand on May 25 and against Bangladesh on May 28, before kick-starting the campaign on June 5 against South Africa in Southampton.
