Indian cricketers are currently involved in ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) but the preparation for ICC World Cup 2019 has already started. It's the off-field preparation we are talking about.

The Indian players are getting measured for their customized suits for the upcoming mega ICC tournament starting at the end of May.

Tailors have visited the cricketers in the team hotels of different IPL franchises. “They do tailored products, custom made suits. So, we’ve placed the order. They will stitch the suits as per the individualized measurements,” said a BCCI source. “It being the IPL season, the players are scattered. The company has got the concierge service, so we have asked them to take appointments of the players and get the measurements done.”

As per the Mumbai Mirror's report, the suits will have a blue blazer and blue trousers. There is also a white shirt and a Bundy shirt. It will obviously have a BCCI logo on the chest pocket. “Made to measure is the best thing to wear. The team needs to look smart and also must possess consistent quality,” the source said.

Players were last given a suit when they toured South Africa. They were wearing an Italian brand, but this time it is going to be an Indian brand.

“It’s the World Cup, the players will represent the country, so it is fitting that an Indian company dresses them,” said the source. The suits are for the official functions in England.
