BAN v IND 2022: Anushka Sharma reacts with heart emojis after Virat Kohli hits his 44th ODI century

This was Virat Kohli's 1st ODI century since August 2019.

Virat Kohli and Ishan Kishan added 290 runs in 190 balls in 3rd ODI | APFormer India captain Virat Kohli finally broke the jinx and scored his first ODI century since August 2019 and along with Ishan Kishan, took India to a huge total in the 3rd ODI against Bangladesh on December 10, 2022, in Chattogram.

After being asked to bat as Litton Das won the toss, KL Rahul revealed two changes in the Indian XI as Ishan Kishan and Kuldeep Yadav came in, while Bangladesh included Tasking Ahmed and Yasir Ali.

After losing Shikhar Dhawan for 3 runs only, prolonging his poor run of form with the bat, Ishan Kishan, and Virat Kohli began hammering the Bangladeshi bowlers to all parts of the stadium. Kohli took a backseat as Kishan hit sixes and fours at will against both spinners and pacers.

Kishan raced to his maiden ODI ton in 86 balls and took 18 further balls to reach 150. Finally, he became the youngest and fastest double centurion in ODIs, in just 126 balls, and finished with 210 runs with 24 fours and 10 sixes to his name.

Kohli and Kishan added 290 runs for the second wicket in 190 balls. 

Meanwhile, Kohli, who had started off slowly, pressed on the accelerator and reached his century in just 85 balls. This was his first ODI ton since August 2019, his 44th in ODIs and 72nd in international cricket, putting him second on the all-time century makers list behind Sachin Tendulkar (100).

Kohli perished for 113 in 91 balls with 2 sixes and 11 fours, and thanks to Washington Sundar’s 37 and Akshar Patel’s 20 runs, India posted 409/8 in 50 overs.    

Meanwhile, Kohli’s wife, actress Anushka Sharma took to Instagram and posted loving heart emojis as a reaction to his century.
