Stats : Team India completes 700 victories in International Cricket

India became the third team after Australia and England to win 700 or more matches in international cricket.

India defeated Bangladesh by 3 wickets in a last ball thriller to clinch their seventh Asia Cup title and with this win India also became the third ever nation to win 700 or more matches in International Cricket. Out of India's 700 wins, 146 came in Test cricket, 489 in ODIs and 65 in T20I cricket. India played their first ever international match against England at Lord's in 1932 and had to wait for 20 years for the first win which came in 1952 against the same opponent (England) at Chennai. It was India's 27th international match and now India have completed 700 wins in International cricket. Here is a look at team India's record in international cricket.
