Indian tennis star Sania Mirza has hit back at a journalist for questioning husband and Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Malik's patriotism.

Syed Raza Mehdi, media manager of GEO TV had doubted Malik's dedication toward Pakistan team in one of his tweet. He wrote that the Pakistan senior batsman is playing only to impress his wife and not to win games for his nation.

The tweet was very surprising as Malik was in good touch throughout the Asia Cup for his team. He even won a close game against Pakistan for his team. In five games, Shoaib's score read, 9*, 43, 51*, 78, and 30.

Like everyone else, Mirza was also shocked by the allegation put on Malik by the journo. She replied Syed Raza and wrote, "Arre bechaara.. clearly the poor guy has been watching a different Asia Cup!!"

The journalist had to delete his tweet later after being shamed by the fans and Mirza publicly.
