Mohammad Shahzad turned out to be the hero for Afghanistan in their last match of the super four stages in the ongoing Asia Cup 2018, as his 5th ODI century got Afghanistan a tie against a rampaging Indian side.
Shahzad smacked 124 runs in 116 balls with 11 fours and 7 sixes to his name and helped Afghanistan put up 252/8 on board against India. He took on every Indian bowler present in the match, despite the fact that India had rested their main bowling attack barring Kuldeep Yadav. Shahzad made full use of the first power play and kept going hammer and tongs.
He was seen in conversation with Suhail Chandhok and even gave a call out to Jatin Sapru during the mock commentary session before the game against India. Sapru, on the other hand, requested Shahzad for a helicopter shot during the match on Tuesday.

Shahzad, however, couldn’t manage a helicopter shot but gave an apt reply to Jatin Sapru.
