Pakistan left-handed opening batsman Fakhar Zaman was brutally trolled by the widespread Twitter community over his weird and ugly dismissal in the Super 4 Asia Cup 2018 clash against India.

After Sarfraz Ahmed opted to bat first, the Pakistani openers - Imam Ul Haq and Fakhar himself - failed to get going against Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jasprit Bumrah and the moment they saw spin they tried to overattack Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav.

This is where in the process Fakhar tried to sweep Kuldeep Yadav for a boundary but failing to put bat to ball, he collapsed on the ground before it sneaked through straight and he was given out LBW.

Interestingly, even though Fakhar discussed with his batting partner at the time Babar Azam and contemplated going for the review, he eventually decided against it. But the footage from the replay showed that it would've been a fruitful one for him and Pakistan, as the ball never hit the pads and brushed his gloves on the move, the impact of which he never quite realised.

Pakistan could only manage a score of 237/7 in their 50 overs and then lost the match quite one-sidedly in 39.1 overs by 9 wickets.

Although Fakhar scored 31 off 44 balls, the fans didn't let go the moment easily.

Here's the best of the reactions:-
