Asia Cup 2018: Yuzvendra Chahal shares heartwarming message after winning hearts with a gesture of sportsmanship

Cricket matches between India and Pakistan have always been intense and with the arch-rivals facing each other only in the ICC events, it makes the contest even more exciting.

However, the India–Pakistan cricket rivalry is one of the most extreme and intensified sports rivalries in the world, but players from both sides share great rapport on the field and show great respect to each other. One such incident got to see in Dubai, where India and Pakistan turned up in the Asia Cup 2018 league match on September 19 (Wednesday).

On Wednesday’s game at Asia Cup 2018, the bonhomie between the two players from the two countries got to see in Dubai when Indian leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal came out to help Pakistan's Usman Khan to tie his shoelace during the high-profile encounter. Chahal got great appreciation from fans of both countries for his gesture on the field. 

It all happened when Pakistan was at the last stage of their innings, Usman and Amir were at the crease, and his shoelaces untied but he could not do by himself with gloves and pads made it really difficult for him to go down and tie the lace, then, Chahal came forward to assist him.

Even Chahal also shared a picture on his official social media handle with a great message, “Bowing down to the spirit of the game which every sport demands. #beingindian #beinghumble”

Now, India and Pakistan will face each other on September 23 (Sunday) in the super four stage of the ongoing Asia Cup 2018 in Dubai.
