Former India batsman Virender Sehwag had added spice ahead of the battle of India vs Pakistan on Wednesday. He had triggered the war of words on social media.

Sehwag, who never stays back when it comes to taking a dig at Pakistan, did it again on Twitter. He tweeted a picture which had two Indian and Pakistani players each. It was related to the new '#BreakTheBeard' trend which players from both sides have followed recently.

Taking a jibe at Pakistani players, Sehwag wrote, "Koi Biwi ke liye kar raha hai , koi garmi ki vajah se, iss #INDvsPAK ke #BreakTheBeard mukaabley mein bhi India hi Champions hai."

The tweet was posted a few hours before the game between India and Pakistan and as usual, it did make irk the neighbors. The tweet received over 12,000 likes, shows how much fans enjoy Sehwag's banter with Pakistan.

Sehwag's tweet was proven right after India defeated Pakistan in the game on the same day by 8 wickets.

Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan, after a terrific batting against the men in green on Wednesday, stepped in into the 'Break The Bread' trend as well.

Agreeing with Sehwag's words, he posted, "Sahi farmaaya @virendersehwag bhai. Poori Koshish lagaa dengey Asia Cup ki jeet mein. Filhaal Asia Cup mein yeh mera solid punjabi tadka, Kyunki boundary toh sirf gabru break karega!! #BreakTheBeard #knockthemout."

Dhawan had missed out a well-deserved half-century against Pakistan and was dismissed on 46 runs. He, however, didn't fail to score a ton against Hong Kong in India's opening encounter of Asia Cup 2018.
