Before India and Pakistan could face each other, former Pakistan pacer Shoaib Akhtar and Indian great Sunil Gavaskar faced-off at the Dubai International Stadium.

In a video shared on Twitter, Akhtar can be seen bowling a soft delivery before firing one into Gavaskar. Both are part of the commentary team for on-going Asia Cup 2018. 

Akhtar asked the broadcasting crew to move when he decided to bowl a quick one which, the 69-year-old Gavaskar missed completely.

The most hyped game before the Asia Cup, India vs Pakistan, wasn't a high-voltage match. Pakistan was outplayed by India in every department. India's game against Hong Kong had lasted longer than their match against Pakistan. 

The Rohit Sharma-led team chased down the target of 163 in 29 overs with 8 wickets left. Pakistan will get another chance to take revenge for their humiliating loss in the group stage. The Indian cricket team will face them again on September 23.
