The India and Pakistan match in the ongoing Asia Cup 2018 has been interesting, to say the least. Pakistan batted first after winning the toss and Indian bowlers Bhuvneshwar and Bumrah kept them quite in the first five overs and were rewarded with 2 wickets.

Then came the 82-run partnership came between Babar Azam and Shoaib Malik which steadied the ship for Pakistan. But for India, trouble came in the 18^th over as Hardik Pandya was in the middle of his 5^th over.

Pandya bowled the fifth ball of the over and suddenly went down on the ground clutching his back. As the Indian fielders and Pakistani batsmen checked on Pandya, the physio of the Indian team ran onto the field, as Dinesh Karthik calmed Pandya down.

Unfortunately, he couldn’t stand up and was stretchered out of the ground with the physio in tow.
