Fans had high hopes from the veteran batsman who flopped against England in the recently concluded ODI series. There was a loud cheer for the former Indian skipper when he came out to bat, but when he got dismissed on naught, a young fan was distressed. He expressed his woes in a funny way.

India was asked to bat by Hong Kong after which they posted 285/7. For India, opener Shikhar Dhawan scored a hundred and Ambati Rayudu, who was sent on number 3, scored 70-ball 60.
What surprised everyone was Hong Kong's run-chase. Indian bowlers had to struggle a lot for the first wicket. The opening stand was stretched to 174 and India got their first breakthrough in 35th over.
Opener Nizakat Khan and Anshuman Rath, the skipper, scored 92 and 73, respectively. Hong Kong slowed down in the last phase of their chase which helped India get back in the game.
Eventually, India won the game by 26 runs. It was Khaleel Ahmed, the debutant for India who picked up three wickets.
