Prime Minister Imran Khan will be there present in Dubai on his country's first round Asia Cup 2018 clash against India on Wednesday, September 19.

With the two neighbours part of the same group A, which also includes Hong Kong, India and Pakistan are scheduled to renew their rivalry with a much-anticipated encounter in front of a full house in United Arab Emirates.

Imran, Pakistan's greatest cricketer ever as well as their leader, played 88 Tests and 175 ODIs for his nation. He retired having scored 3,807 runs at 37.69 In Tests and 3,709 runs at 33.41 in ODIs respectively, alongside picking 544 International wickets too.

Imran led Pakistan to their maiden World Cup triumph in Australia in 1992.

There is an added spice to this game with Pakistan beating India in the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy final in England by a margin of 180 runs.

Though Pakistan has a better win-loss record over India, it is the latter that has dominated the rivalry in World Cups and even in the Asia Cup. India opens up their campaign with a game against Hong Kong on September 19 before facing off Pakistan a day later.
