Pakistan youngster Imam-ul-Haq surprised everyone when he responded to a feckless question from an Indian journalist. Imam, who is the nephew of former Pakistan cricketer Inzamam-ul-Haq, was asked a personal question.

“Your uncle Inzamam-ul-Haq used to sleep a lot, do you also like to sleep a lot like him?”, the Indian journalist was quoted by Express Tribune as saying.

Imam dropped a bombshell in reply which is now doing rounds on social media. He replied, “How do you know that, have you slept with him?” The reply shows the 22-year-old didn't like the question and rightly so.

The left-handed batsman has played 3 Tests and 9 ODIs and is currently a part of Pakistan's Asia Cup 2018 squad. In 9 innings, Imam averages 68. He has scored 4 hundreds in the very early part of his ODI career.

Talking about the pressure of playing against India, Pakistan's rising star said, “All matches are the same for me whether its Hong Kong or India as the pressure levels will be similar in all games. We are looking at every opponent and preparing for that game and not only worrying about playing against India."

India and Pakistan will clash on September 19. Their first game is against Hong Kong on September 16 in Dubai.

India won't be playing under Virat Kohli in the tournament. Rohit Sharma will lead the team in Kohli's absence. Imam said the absence of Kohli will surely make a difference. “We just want to play aggressive cricket and results since the 2017 Champions Trophy are there for everyone to see. You have to really control your nerves in India-Pakistan games as things can easily go against you in such matches.”
