Grant Bradburn, Pakistan’s newly-appointed fielding coach, has revealed on Thursday (September 13) that his main aim is to improve the fielding of Men in Green. The New Zealander is pretty happy with Pakistan’s fitness and fielding ahead of the Asia Cup 2018 in the United Arab Emirates.

He joined the Pakistan squad on Wednesday (September 12) in Dubai, where the players are sweating it out for the upcoming six-nation event starting from Saturday (September 15).

As per reports in Geo TV, Bradburn told the media in Dubai, “It was a great first session with the Pakistan team. The fitness and fielding of the team are great.”

Former Scotland coach signed off by saying, “Pakistani players are ready to learn and are familiar with the basic techniques of fielding. My target is to improve Pakistan's fielding.”

Noteworthy, Sarfraz Ahmed-led Pakistan Team is being seen as favorites to win the Asia Cup in the UAE, which is their second home ground where they are playing since 2009 on a regular basis.

The 2018 edition of the Asia Cup, which also involves India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan and Hong Kong, will began with the encounter between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, while Pakistan will kick off their campaign against Hong Kong on September 16. The summit clash of the tournament between Pakistan and India will be played on September 19
