With less than a week left in Asia Cup 2018, Russel Arnold has already started taking digs at the opponents. When the official Twitter account of a leading cricket website asked fans to make predictions for the upcoming tournament, he named Sri Lanka as the winner.

However, it was not too late when fans tried to show him the mirror. Though, Arnold didn't stop there. He came up with a sarcastic tweet suggesting Sri Lanka has every chance to make it to the final but isn't sure about India and Pakistan. "I do hope we get to see both #SLvInd  and #SLvPak games at #AsiaCup ... it will be a shame if we only get to see one of those games ????," he wrote.

Not the first time the former Sri Lankan cricketer is getting bashed by fans this month. He had earlier tried to make fun of India's performance against England. The cricket commentator even went on to compare the record of Sri Lanka with India at Lord's, where Virat Kohli and co faced a defeat recently.

India and Sri Lanka are in different groups. However, they have a chance to clash in Super Four, only if the men from the Emerald Island make it there.

Here is how Twitterati reacted to Arnold's comment:
