In order to determine the team that will be taking the final spot in the 2018 Asia Cup, the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has released the fixture of the qualifier matches.
The 2018 Asia Cup qualifier featuring hosts Malaysia, Nepal, Oman, Hong Kong, Singapore and United Arab Emirates (UAE) will be played from August 29 to September 6. The matches will be held across three venues namely – Kinrara Oval, Bayuemas Oval and UKM Oval.
The six teams will play each other in a round-robin format. After the completion of round-robin phase, the top two teams will advance to the final. The winner of the final will be joining India and Pakistan in Group A of the 2018 Asia Cup while the Group B comprised of Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.
Abu Dhabi and Dubai will host the 14th edition of Asia Cup from September 15 to September 28.
