After Ben Stokes repeated his heroics for England for the second time this year, ICC too brought their old controversial tweet back again. The Twitter account of the world's governing cricket body has often come with cheeky tweets but this one, a dig on Indian great Sachin Tendulkar, wasn't welcomed by the fans in the past.

When Stokes had played a match-winning knock against New Zealand in the final and received Man of the Match from Sachin, ICC posted their picture and captioned it, ‘The greatest cricketer of all time along with Sachin Tendulkar."

Stokes, on last Sunday, turned up as hero again against Australia in the third Ashes Test. He single-handedly took them to the victory.

A few days after the win, ICC again shared the same tweet, and quote replied it with, "Told you so ????."

Fans didn't take the tweet well again. They were not ready for this tweet and thought it was too much from ICC.
