England include a newbie to replace Joe Root in T20I tri - series

Young Surrey all-rounder Sam Curran gets a chance on Wednesday to live his dreams, as he is all set to make his International debut for England in the Tri-nation T20 International series, involving Australia and New Zealand, starting next month at SCG.

The teams all set to play seven T20Is in New Zealand and Australia with the first T20 will be played between the hosts at Sydney Cricket Ground, Sydney on February 3, while England will open their campaign against Australia on 7 Feb at Bellerive Oval, Hobart.

The 19-year-old pacer has been named as the replacement of Test skipper Joe Root, who was rested for the T20I Tri-series, as well as, cover for Ben Stokes whose availability is still uncertain, as the all-rounder will join the squad after his hearing at Bristol Magistrates' Court on 13 February.

The left-arm seamer Sam Curran, who made his Surrey debut in 2015, played 34 First-class matches, amassing 1277-runs and 86 wickets, will join his brother Tom in England’s T20 squad for the series.
