Australians turned on their jubilant mood when they started the celebrations of their 2017-18 Magellan Ashes triumph over England in the Sydney dressing room after folding up the five-Test series with an innings and 123-run win in the final Test of the prestigious series at the SCG on Monday.
Captain Steve Smith won the Compton-Miller Medal as the player of the series for his stunning show with the willow throughout the Ashes series, amassing 687 runs at an average of 137.40, while the bowlers, who played a key role in Australia’s Ashes triumph, claimed over 20 wickets in the Test series.

With 4-0 Ashes win, Australia has now moved on to the third position in the ICC Test ranking, overtaking England. It was an incredible summer for Australian cricket as both Men and Women’s team won the Ashes urn.
After celebrating their Ashes victory on the field, Australia’s celebrations moved onto the Australian dressing room in Sydney, where the player in the Baggy Green were seen partying and celebrating their historic day of reclaiming Urn with their family and friends.
