Plagued by team controversies and poor form, Joe Root and his England team will take the field in Perth with an aim to bounce back in the series. Several of their players have been involving them in unforeseen circumstances which has dented the image of the team.

Several cricket experts have been criticizing  the way the players have been carrying out themselves inspite their team trailing in the series. England coach Trevor Bayliss has been repeatedly commenting about his disappointment with the team when their backs are against the wall.

However, Thursday gives England another chance in Perth to come back in the series and make a strong statement to their counterpart. The likes of Alastair Cook and Joe Root will have the onus again to bat and score heavy runs for their team.  One important analysis of the England batting line-up in the first two Tests was they failed miserably to up against the moving ball against the Australians. Australia too had their share of problems in Adelaide in the second innings but their bowlers bounced back on the final day to hand Australia a 2—0 lead in the series.

Australia, on the other hand, will be super confident after their bowlers bowled them to a comfortable victory in Adelaide. They will look to go in with the same team combination with a four-pronged attack and Lyon being the lead spinner.

To speak about Australia, they will look to build on the lead and take full advantage of the home conditions. They will have their crowds to back them up and will be a key factor in driving their team during the course of the match.

Perth promises to be an entertaining Test match if both the teams plays upto their potential. Surely there will be moments in the Test match which would make news and certainly keep the interest of the viewers in the teams. The match is expected to have the pendulum swinging from one team to another.
