Indian cricket team finally won a bilateral ODI series on Australian soil and fans are more than happy. After India's first ever Test series win in Australia, this win was also special. The men in blue lifted the title by winning the 3-match series 2-1. They lost the first game but did well to come back and win two games straight.

In Melbourne, it was another MS Dhoni's steady innings of unbeaten 87 runs along with Kedar Jadhav's 61*. India chased down the target of 231 runs in the last over and clinch the win by 7 wickets.

After India's win, skipper Virat Kohli's wife and Bollywood celebrity Anushka Sharma took to Twitter to congratulate the Indian team and her husband for "an unforgettable and outstanding tour".

Kohli scored 46 in the final ODI but got dismissed at the wrong time. The Indian skipper had smashed a hundred in the second game at the Adelaide Oval. The century was also Kohli’s 64th in international cricket, which takes him one ahead of Sri Lanka’s Kumar Sangakkara and into the third spot behind former Australian captain Ricky Ponting (71) and the legendary Sachin Tendulkar (100).
