Former India captain MS Dhoni had scared his fans when he walked off the field in the last ODI against England in 2018 by taking the match ball from the umpire. Social media was filled with speculations of Dhoni calling it a day in international cricket. But later he had revealed the reason. It was to know the reason why Indian bowlers didn't get reverse swing, while the opposition enjoyed it.

"Since we will be playing the World Cup in England, we must know what we have to do to get the reverse swing going," Dhoni was quoted as saying by ICC-cricket.com.

Dhoni seems to have not forgotten that incident. We all know the Indian wicket-keeper has a sense of humor and he gave that incident a funny touch even after a long time.

The 37-year-old, who played a match-winning knock of 87* against Australia on Friday, took the match ball with him after India won. He later passed the ball to batting coach Sanjay Bangar, and said: "ball lelo nahi to bolega retirement le rahe hain (take the ball or they will say I am retiring)".
