Australia has included Adam Zampa and Billy Stanlake in their playing XI for the third and final ODI of the series against India. The hosts have made two tactical changes by bringing in a leg-spinner and more pace to their bowling attack for the all-important game in Melbourne on Friday, January 18.

Stanlake found his way back after Jason Behrendorff was ruled out with back soreness, prompting the selectors to also name Kane Richardson as a cover in their squad.

Test off-spinner Nathan Lyon struggled to pick up a single wicket in Sydney & Adelaide and has subsequently been dropped. Paving way for Zampa, who has played 33 ODIs with an economy rate of 5.69 for Australia so far.

Richardson has earned a national recall after fantastic performances for Melbourne Renegades in the ongoing Big Bash League(BBL) season. The right-arm pacer picked up 14 wickets in just seven matches and bowled with a very fine economy rate.

Australia has not won a single bilateral ODI series in last two years.

Australia XI: Aaron Finch, Alex Carey, Usman Khawaja, Shaun Marsh, Peter Handscomb, Marcus Stoinis, Glenn Maxwell, Jhye Richardson, Peter Siddle, Adam Zampa, Billy Stanlake.
