Former Indian cricketer MS Dhoni's fans gathered outside the Sydney cricket ground waiting for their man to show up. When Dhoni came outside he obliged them with autographs and pictures. The video was shared by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

Dhoni has a huge fanbase and it was no surprise that the Indian veteran cricketer got fans to cheer for him overseas as well.

Recently, a Dhoni fan shared a picture of a car in the United States of America with the nameplate reading 'MS Dhoni'. Chennai Super Kings official Twitter handle had shared the video writing, "@ChennaiIPL A Car number in LA. Must be a great fan of MSD. Clicked by one of my friends. #MSD."

Dhoni will look to start the year 2019 with a blast. He has an opportunity waiting for next one month as India is set to play 3-match ODI series against Australia, followed by a tour to New Zealand with five ODIs and three T20Is.

The Jharkhand cricketer has been under a lot of criticism but Australian captain Aaron Finch praised him. He said, "I think the way that he's led India under the most extreme cricket scrutiny for a long time has been unbelievable.

"I think that he's obviously one of the all-time greats of the game. It will be a sad day if he doesn't come back to Australia after this tour, he's a brilliant entertainer and someone that people pay money to come through the gates to watch."
