AUS v IND 2018-19: ODI Series - Approaching Milestones

All the major milestones which could be achieved during the ODI series between India and Australia.

After a historic Test series win on Australian soil, Team India will face off the Aussies in three-match ODI series that starts on 12th January in Sydney.

India is ranked number two in ICC ODI rankings and are favorites to clinch their maiden bilateral ODI series in Australia despite the absence of number one ranked ODI bowler Jasprit Bumrah who is rested for this series. India is superior to Australia in all three departments of the game at present and should finish this successful tour with yet another series win. 

All the major milestones which could be achieved during the ODI series between India and Australia :

1 - If India wins this three-match ODI series then it will be their first ever bilateral ODI series win against Australia in Australia.

1 - MS Dhoni needs 1 more run to complete 10,000 runs for India in ODIs. He will be the fifth player after Sachin Tendulkar (18426), Sourav Ganguly (11221), Rahul Dravid (10768), and Virat Kohli (10232).

1 - Bhuvneshwar Kumar needs 1 more wicket to become the 19th Indian bowler to take 100 wickets in ODI cricket. 

65 - Shikhar Dhawan needs 65 more runs to become the 13th Indian player to achieve the milestone of 5000 ODI runs.

2000 - Ravindra Jadeja (1982 runs) needs 18 more runs to complete 2000 runs in ODI cricket.

5949 - Virat Kohli has scored 5949 runs at an average of 58.32 in 132 away from home ODIs and needs 51 more runs to become the fifth Indian player to complete 6000 ODI runs away from home.
