The recently held Border-Gavaskar Trophy didn’t only witness captivating contest between Australia and India on the field, but also garnered a lot of attention for the chatter, banter, and sledging.
In particular, Australia skipper Tim Paine and India wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant hogged the limelight for their hilarious chitchat behind the stumps. During the Boxing Day Test in Melbourne, Paine had asked Pant whether he is free to 'babysit' his kids while he goes for a movie with his wife.
Subsequently, Paine’s wife, Bonnie Paine, had shared an Instagram story featuring Pant and her kids with the caption reading: “best babysitter”.
With the Test series now done and dusted, one might have thought the banter will also come to an end. But, Paine’s wife was at it again as she posted another Instagram story holding her baby on Wednesday (January 9). Moreover, she tagged Rishabh Pant in the story and asked him if he is free for a babysitting gig today.
Here's the story:
Pant had a wonderful time during the four-match Test series in Australia. He was the second highest run-getter in the four-match Test series after Cheteshwar Pujara. The southpaw amassed 350 runs at an average of 58.33 across the seven innings as India defeated Australia 2-1 to win their first-ever Test series down under.
