Cheteshwar Pujara (193) and Rishabh Pant (159*) put India in a strong position against Australia in the fourth and final Test in Sydney.

On day two India resumed batting on 303/4 and Indian batsmen kept on smashing Aussies bowlers all over the park and scored a mammoth total 622/7 before the declaration. Cheteshwar Pujara and Rishabh Pant played 193 and 159* runs knock respectively. Ravindra Jadeja and Mayank Agarwal also contributed with fifties. In reply, Australia finished day two on 24/0.
