Tim Paine and Rishabh Pant kept fans interested with their relentless chatter during the Boxing Day Test in Melbourne.

Paine had chirped to Pant about MS Dhoni replacing him in the ODI team and whether he is free to 'babysit' for his kids while he goes for a movie with his wife. He also asked whether he the Indian wicket-keeper is available to play for Hobart Hurricanes in the ongoing Big Bash League (BBL).

Pant had his own back at Paine when he used the word "temporary" to describe his current status as captain of Australian team in the absence of Steve Smith who was banned during the ball tampering scandal.

He also asked the bowlers to take it easy on Paine, suggesting that the Australian captain can only talk and not be much of a threat with the bat. The sledging on the field was often harmless and never went out of hand.

On New Year's day, both the teams visited Kirribilli House, residence of Australian Prime Minister in Sydney. Their families too joined them.

Bonnie Paine, wife Paine, clearly saw the funny side of the sledging, as she posted a picture on Instagram of herself with Pant and her kids with the caption 'best babysitter'. Here is the snapshot of her Instagram story:
