Indian Cricket Team-led by Virat Kohli was seen sweating it out at their practice sessions at The WACA on Wednesday (December 12) and Optus Stadium on Thursday (December 13) ahead of their grueling second Test of the four-match Test Series Down Under to be played from Friday (December 14) in Perth.

Under the watchful eyes of Head coach Ravi Shastri, bowling coach Bharat Arun, Indian players sweat it out during a training session at the iconic WACA Stadium, and Team India grabbed the opportunity to share the pictures of their boys’ practice on their official social media handle on Wednesday. They had another intense session of practice on Thursday at Optus Stadium where the Test match will start tomorrow.

While Kohli and his brigade reached Perth on Tuesday, they chose to turn up for an intense training session instead of taking rest at the iconic WACA Stadium, which is known for his fastest wickets’ nature, despite the second Test will be played in the new Perth Stadium, the tourists made use of the centre-wicket of the fast and bouncy wicket here, which had been a graveyard for them in the past.

Batsmen Kohli, Cheteshwar Pujara, Ajinkya Rahane, Murali Vijay, Hanuma Vihari, Parthiv Patel and KL Rahul were pictured doing batting practice, while Ishant Sharma, Umesh Yadav, Mohammad Shami and Bhuvneshwar Kumar were seen working on their bowling skills.

Meanwhile, Captain Kohli will be keen on returning to his best with the willow in Perth after his not so successful Adelaide outing, Vijay, who also failed in the first Test, was focused on digging out a few yorkers along with Rahane bowled by bowling coach Arun at the nets.
