AUS v IND 2018-19: Cricket fraternity applauds Team India as it gains upper hand in Adelaide Test

Team India has set Australia a target of 323 runs to win the Adelaide Test.

India was bundled for 307 in the second innings with Pujara making 71 and Rahane making 70. Nathan Lyon’s 6/122 helped Australia limit India’s lead to 322 runs and Team India set Australia a lead of 323 runs.

Then R Ashwin and Mohammad Shami pegged Australia back, leaving them 104/4 by the end of the fourth day’s play. Now Australia requires 219 runs more on the final day with 6 wickets in hand and they have Marsh and Head at the crease.

The Twitterverse and the cricketing fraternity was amazed at the way Indian team wrested the initiative from the Australians in their own den and have the upper hand in the first Test of the series.
