Wrist-spinner Kuldeep Yadav was seen chatting with the legendary Australian leg-spinner Shane Warne on Sunday, and the youngster sought learnings of the trade and guidance over skill from his "idol" on sidelines of the ongoing Test match at the historic Adelaide Oval.

23-year-old Kuldeep, who isn't featuring in skipper Virat Kohli's XI for the first Border-Gavaskar Trophy game, was pictured talking to Warne along with India's head coach Ravi Shastri.

“Morning wisdom courtesy @ShaneWarne” #AUSvIND,” quoted Board of Control for Cricket in India(BCCI) posting the official image of the moment through their handle on social media network, Twitter.

Which was then followed by cricket.com.au, which remarked "Talking spin! #AUSvIND" over their picture as Kuldeep even shared a laugh with Warne.

The classic left-armer's admiration for the master goes back a long way, as he started off bowling his beautiful leggies watching Warne, who retired with 708 Test wickets in the year 2007, mesmerise the world with his exploits during those good old days.

“Learning from Warne and then using those tricks to get the Australian batsmen out was a great thing. The wicket of (David) Warner was not a Chinaman. It was a flipper which I learnt from Warne. I did exactly what he told me to do. I have followed him since childhood,” Kuldeep had said at the time of his fruitful Test debut at Dharamshala in March last year, as he further told BCCI.TV, “When I walked towards him (Shane Warne), I couldn’t believe that I was standing in front of him."

"He greeted me with a warm smile and it felt very heartening to see a legend embrace you in that manner. It was a great experience. I asked a lot of things about my bowling and the different ways to use my variations effectively. He felt very confident about my bowling and said he had been following my performances. Those words are like gold for me,” he added.
