The sledging game has now finally started by the Australians in the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy, as the Pat Cummins was seen serving some verbal treatment to India opener KL Rahul on Day 3 of the first Test match of the four-match Test series in Adelaide on Saturday (December 8).

The Kangaroos have always been on the radar for their on-field behavior in every cricketing tie whether be it in Australia or overseas, but ahead of the India series, they were asked to adapt tone down attitude especially following the ball-tampering saga in South Africa.

However, the Australians maintained their attitude in the first two days in Adelaide, as they were seen playing with their new non-confrontation policy and their vow to play with a smile, but on Saturday, their infamous abrasive attitude has once again become the talking point among cricketers and fans.

Meanwhile, the flashpoint came on Saturday in Adelaide when the Australian fast bowler Cummins failed as the bowler walked up to Indian opener and said something to him on the field.

However, one thing is clear that the Indians are not in a mood to hold it back, as the right-hander decide to throw his words to Cummins, not with words but with his willow, in the next ball that was short and wide, the stylish batsman threw the kitchen sink at it and the ball flew over slips for a boundary.

And, a frustrated Cummins again walked up to Rahul and tried to get under his skin, but the Indian opener avoided any conversation and turned his back. He contributed 44 off 67 to India’s 254 runs lead and 323 runs target to the hosts to win the first Domain Test in Adelaide.
