Indian skipper Virat Kohli got the start he was expecting from his bowlers. The lanky pacer Ishant Sharma shattered Aaron Finch's stumps on just third ball of Australian innings. What followed after the wicket was a fiery celebration by Kohli. He is pumped!

Australia came out to bat after picking up the last wicket of Indian innings on first delivery of second day's play. For India, Cheteshwar Pujara turned out to be the top scorer with a fighting 123 runs.

The hosts, in reply, got into a pretty much similar situation India was in. They also lost their six wickets on 127 runs. But Travis Head came in rescue for the home team as he scored a fifty.

Till the new ball was taken by India (80th over), Australia scored 177 with the loss of 6 wickets. Head and Pat Cummins stretched their partnership to 50* runs.
