AUS v IND 2018-19: Shane Warne's ultimate prediction for the blockbuster Border–Gavaskar Trophy

Warne also picked the leading run-scorer and wicket-taker of the series.

Warne, legendary Australian spinner, has also predicted his leading run-scorer and wicket-taker of the four-match Test series ahead of the first Test on the social media.

Warne believes that Indian talismanic batsman Virat Kohli and Australian southpaw Shaun Marsh will fight it out to lead the batting charts, while he didn’t pick any Indian bowler to dominate in Australia.

The cricket pundit feels that it would be either seamer Pat Cummins or spinner Nathan Lyon who will be the leading wicket-take in the ongoing Test Series Down Under at home.

His Instagram post reads, “Excited for the 1st test match here in Adelaide that starts today. Good luck to both teams and may the best team win !!!! My leading run scorer for the series is Shaun Marsh or Virat Kohli and my leading wicket takers are Pat Cummins or Nathan Lyon. Whoever wins the first Test will win the series 2-1. Agree?”

Meanwhile, India made a disappointing start in the series opener against Australia despite winning the toss, as they lost their 6 wickets at 146. But it was Cheteshwar Pujara, who took the charge in the crisis situation, cracked 123 off 246 balls and also added 62 runs with R Ashwin to take India to a respectable score of 250/9 at the end of day one in Adelaide.
