Indian cricketers Rohit Sharma and R Ashwin went out on the streets of Adelaide to surprise fans. The players were walking back to the team hotel which is very near to the stadium. It only takes two minutes to walk from the venue to the team hotel. 

On their way back to the hotel, Sharma and Ashwin talked about the Test series with fans. As seen in the video posted by BCCI.tv, the players were soon followed by the fans.

BCCI shared the video and wrote, "Rohit and Ashwin surprise fans on the streets of Adelaide. Ever wondered how you would feel if @ImRo45 or @ashwinravi99 walked up to you on the streets randomly? The duo did just that on their way back from the Adelaide Oval."

Ashwin and Rohit both are included in the playing XI of the first Test. India isn't a very good situation on the first day of the Test match. They lost half of their batsmen under 100 runs. Sharma, who is returning to the Test side, smashed three sixes and two fours but couldn't stretch his innings which India needed.

Rohit scored 37 runs and was dismissed playing a reckless shot. For India, only Cheteshwar Pujara stood up with the bat and scored 78* till the 78th over of India's innings on day 1.
