Australia find themselves in a position of advantage with a lead of 1-0 over India in the three-match T20I series. Australia won the first match at Brisbane and with the second T20I being washed out by rain, Australia has a golden chance of winning their first T20I series against India.

After a crushing loss in the first T20I, India had Australia on the ropes with score at 132/7 in 19 overs before rain ruined any chance of India coming back into the series. Indian bowlers were at the top of their game with Khaleel Ahmed picking two wickets, while the spinners also came into their own on the big MCG ground.

Now with the series on the line, Australia has brought in their heavy artillery in Mitchell Starc to replace the injured Billy Stanlake, in a bid to strengthen their bowling even further.

India and Virat Kohli are looking to come equal in the series after a heartening performance in MCG and with the bowling getting their act together, batsmen would have to step up and put up a score on the board if batting first, or chasing down the total with ease.

Virat Kohli needs to bat up the order at no.3 with Rahul or Manish Pandey coming in at no.4 to strengthen the middle order.

The Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) will witness a cracking encounter between two brilliant teams in front of a big crowd and the winning team will have all the momentum going forward.
