India wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant became the talk of the town on social media. The southpaw on Saturday (November 24) was slammed by Twitterati for sharing a picture with Prithvi Shaw.

While posting the tweet, very little did Pant know that the Indian fans will brutally troll him in the comment section for his performance. However, the anger among the fans for the first T20I loss against Australia was such that Rishabh was told to focus on his game rather than uploading photos on social sites.

Needing 24 runs off the last 2 overs in the first T20I against Australia, Pant (20 off 15 balls) threw his wicket away by trying a cheeky reverse shot off Andre Tye’s bowling. It was certainly a turning point of the match as India failed to score 13 in the final over and eventually lost the match by 4 runs in Brisbane.

Here are some of the vile reactions on Rishabh Pant’s post:

After the match, India skipper Virat Kohli had also admitted that Rishabh Pant's dismissal was the turning point of the match.

"It was a close game, exciting one for the crowd to watch and for the players as well, was a see-saw battle. We started well with the bat, fumbled in the middle overs, in the end we thought we'll win with Pant and Karthik but it changed again with Pant's dismissal," Kohli said at the post-match presentation.

Australia are currently leading the three-match T20I series 1-0. While the second T20I in Melbourne was abandoned due to rain, Sydney will host the third and final match on Sunday (November 25).
