Fans were left miffed as the second T20I between Australia and India at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) was rained out after Australia played out 19 overs of their innings.
The drizzle of rain became heavy as Jasprit Bumrah completed the 19th over of the innings as Virat Kohli protested with the umpires over playing in the rain. Though the rain seemed to ease off, it kept returning despite hopes of India coming out to chase the revised total.
But unfortunately, rain continued and the match was called off, leaving the fans unfulfilled.
This gave the Indian cricket team a chance to interact with their fans and KL Rahul seemed to be at the forefront, clicking selfies with the fans and signing autographs.
BCCI shared the video of KL Rahul’s gesture towards fans on their Twitter.
