Australia is leading the three-match T20I series 1-0 after winning the first T20I and given that the second match was rained out, they find themselves in a position of a rare T20I series win against India.
Australia has never won a T20I series against India and hence have included the big gun Mitchell Starc in their squad to replace Billy Stanlake, as they aim to achieve the difficult task.
This has led to a strong reaction from the Indian camp as captain Virat Kohli has demanded two extra practice session, overruling the coaching orders, reports said.
As per the Daily Telegraph reports, Virat Kohli defied the Indian coaching staff's orders and demanded two separate hit-outs on Saturday ahead of the crunch clash at the SCG.
"It's nice. He's obviously got so much experience in limited-overs games," captain Aaron Finch said at the SCG on the inclusion of Starc.
