Indian captain Virat Kohli’s picture with Australian all-rounder Marcus Stoinis has been doing rounds on the social media following the first T20 International of the three-match series at the Adelaide Oval on November 21, 2018.

Kohli and Stoinis exchanged post-match pleasantries at The Gabba and this picture grabbed a lot of attention on the internet and even triggered a caption contest on the social media.

Ever since the picture went viral on social media, fans come up with the hilarious captions for the image of Kohli and Stoinis and even Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) also reacted to the photo on their official Twitter handle.

RCB, which was recently secured Stoinis for the upcoming 2019 edition of the IPL, tweeted, “Skipper @imVkohli with our new joinee, @MStoinis. Maybe he wants him to save his best for the upcoming VIVO IPL when he dons the red and black at #Chinnaswamy!  #PlayBold #AUSvIND”

Seeing the picture, where the duo can be seen wearing a broad smile on their faces, it can be said that Captain Kohli was welcoming Stoinis to the RCB family for the IPL 2019.

Noteworthy, the star-studded India batting line-up failed to live up to the expectations in the series opener as they suffered a 4-run loss in the rain-curtailed first T20I at The Gabba in Brisbane on November 21. The second match will be played on Friday (November 23) at the MCG.
