AUS v IND 2018/19: 2nd T20I- Australia looks to wrap series while India aims to fightback

India lost by 4 runs in the first T20I at Brisbane.

Glenn Maxwell made a big difference for Australia in the first match | GettyAustralia sighed a huge relief as it won the first T20I in Brisbane against India by four runs via DLS method.

Now the caravan moves to the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground in Melbourne and Australia would want to wrap up the series here with a win.

They have finally found a winning combination and though Indian bowlers had the upper hand, a hew fielding mishaps and inexperience gave Australia the edge in the first match.

Chris Lynn looked good before facing his kryptonite of spin, whereas Maxwell came to the party well. Stoinis will be the man to trust for Australia in this crucial encounter.

India, meanwhile, has to look for a proper balance in the team, as the inexperience of Krunal Pandya and Khaleel Ahmed cost them dearly in the end. Dropped catches and sloppy fielding didn’t help them either.

However, a big question must be raised on Virat Kohli not batting at no.3 and how long KL Rahul can last on his IPL laurels at the spot. Also, the selection of another wrist spinner in Chahal will also boost chances of the Indian team given Kuldeep’s success in the first match.

Everything apart, the audience at the MCG will be in for a cracker of a game between two amazing sides.
