Saha denied being informed of any conditions-based policy by India after being dropped in New Zealand.
Saha, considered the better of two glovesmen, was reinstated on comeback as the team's first-choice wicket-keeper ahead of the Tests in the home season late last year against South Africa, Bangladesh.

But when India travelled to the face the Black Caps in Wellington and Christchurch in the two-match series, Pant was back in the playing XI due to more renowned batting abilities, with Saha warming the bench.
"I haven’t been informed anything personally yet," Saha told Sportstar. "But I keep the team in front and individual choices later. If the team decides Rishabh will play, I will be fine with it as I want the team to win."
Overseas, where runs are generally at premium, India feels the need to have a wicket-keeper who can make significant contributions with the bat.
"Normally, every player gets to know the squad before the match when the batting order is decided. I got to know (that I'm not playing) after going there," Saha added.
"It is not (so mentally) tough because you are still part of the team. You have to go by team management decision based on the conditions but yes, inside, you feel that hopefully, you will play since you played the last Test series."
Despite India's call, there were never enough runs on the board as Pant and others struggled against a high-quality Kiwi pace attack in a disappointing 2-0 series whitewash. But for Saha, his time away from the playing XI might not end until England visits India for a five-match Test series next February post India's tour to Australia this winter.
